This Just In: 1966 Cadillac DeVille Classic Convertible Up For Auction

Bunch's June 28th mid-summer catalog auction has just received a beauty of a car! We are featuring a gorgeous original 1966 Cadillac DeVille convertible with 110,622 miles.
This car was purchased in 1969 thru General Sales Company of West Chester with 37,182 miles. The owner has kept the car in terrific original condition over the past 47 years. He has invoices for all work done on the vehicle in a scrupulous file, beginning with the sales invoice from February 1st, 1969 through maintenance records into 2016.
The restoration including the body work, painting, and upholstery were done at Woodcraft Products Company of Philadelphia, PA. All work was overseen by Andy Jacoby and Don Miller. The mechanical work completed was as followed:
•Engine and transmission were removed
•Engine was sent to machine shop for machining and reassembly
•Cylinder heads were modified to operate on unleaded fuel
•Fuel tank was replaced
•Transmission was reconditioned, resealed, and one cooling line was repaired
•Trappe Generator rebuilt the alternator and starter & provided a new Voltage regulator
•Carburetor was rebuilt by Larry Isgro (Wantaugh, NY)
•Manifold plate under the carburetor was replaced
•Engine has been tuned to factory specifications
•Cooling system has been winterized
•Brake Master Cylinder has been replaced
•All brakes have been inspected and drums have been cleaned of any rust
•Front wheel cylinders have been replaced, brake system adjusted, and wheel bearings repacked
•New tires (5): Radials mounted and balanced, wheels have been repainted
•Lights and wiring have been repaired as needed
•New battery installed this month
Each '66 DeVille included a powerful 429ci engine in V8 with 340 hp. The 224 inch convertible features a 129.5 inche wheelbase that makes for an incredibly smooth ride. The vehicle includes a Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission, variable ratio power steering, power windows, power breaks, power front seat adjustment, remote-controlled outside rear view mirror, and courtesy lighting. Of course this DeVille is loaded with additional options including air conditioning, cruise control, and an AM/FM stereo system. These 60′s Cadillacs came with all the bells and whistles and were viewed as the standard of the world for luxury automobile engineering and craftsmanship.
This beautiful vehicle will go up for auction as-is on June 28th, 2016 at our facility in Chadds Ford, PA and has an auction estimate of $10,000-$20,000.
