BUYING AT AUCTION
At Bunch Auctions, we hold our sales bi-weekly on Tuesdays. Our sales are featured through our online bidding platform, with both pre-bidding and real time bidding available. Phone bidding is also available through our website via this form. Both online and phone bidders who make use of our platform enjoy the lowest premiums compared to third-party aggregates.
Our events traverse a broad range of categories from multi-estate fine & decorative arts to specialty categorical collections. In addition to our standard bi-weeklies & specialty sales, we offer four Quarterly Catalog auctions which feature our most refined selection of items.

Viewing in Person
Please join us in visiting our galleries at our Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania facility during exhibition hours. When you arrive for a preview, feel free to browse any & all lots in person. Our staff is readily available to answer any questions you may have. Preview times listed in the Auction Details of each sale listing. Viewing Online
We post pictures & item descriptions for every single lot we sell at auction. Our catalogs are typically posted online 1-2 weeks ahead of each sale. For each sale in our Auction Calendar, you can click the button that reads 'View Lots' to view a complete visual catalog. Items are photographed from multiple angles and perspectives, and can be enlarged for detailed inspection. We are happy to provide additional photographs and condition reports upon request. Bidders can follow these instructions to create an account and register for an auction.
By Telephone
Phone bids are accepted for all auctions and open at $75. To register for a phone bid, please fill out our online phone bidding form. A staff member will phone you shortly before your item goes up for auction.
Live Online Bidding
Online bidding is offered worldwide through our in-house platform BunchLive, as well as thru third-party platforms such as LiveAuctioneers. Please ensure that you are qualified to bid online. Bidders with limited history or with open disputes may require additional credit verification. William Bunch Auctions reserves the right to decline any bidders who fail to meet the registration criteria. Please note that online bidding does have a higher buyer's premium associated. PAYMENT & PICKUP
Payment is required within 10 business days following the auction.
Credit Card Payments (Under $1,000)
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover for invoice totals under $1,000. Payments may be made by calling our office or through our secure online payment system. Online payments are available to U.S. customers only.
Payments of $1,000 or More & International Buyers
Payments of $1,000 or more, as well as all payments from international buyers, must be made by bank wire transfer or ACH bank transfer.
Buyers are responsible for all applicable currency exchange costs, bank processing fees, and incoming wire transfer fees charged by William Bunch Auctions & Appraisals. Please ensure that the full invoice amount, including any applicable fees, is sent / received.
Exception for Established Buyers
Buyers with an established purchase and payment history with William Bunch Auctions & Appraisals may be eligible to pay invoices of $1,000 or more by credit card over the phone, subject to approval.

All invoices must be paid in full within the required payment period.
Sales Tax
If you are a licensed dealer and wish to be tax exempt, please provide our office with a completed Pennsylvania Exemption Certificate and return it to our office by email, along with a copy of your license.

Pick-Up / Shipping / Storage
All items must be picked up, or shipping arrangements made, within 10 days of the day of auction. Bunch Auctions' staff cannot release items to any shipper until your auction invoice has been paid in full.

2. Shipping
William Bunch Auctions does not have a shipping department. If you require a shipping quote, contact one or more of the shippers listed, or a shipper of your own choosing, to obtain a shipping estimate as needed. Be sure to provide the shipper(s) with the following information: your name (as it appears on your invoice), lot#(s) purchased, invoice total, and the zip code to which the item(s) is being shipped. Shipping and handling charges through third-party shippers are based on packaging, size of item, weight of item, zip code, insured value, etc. Once you have made your selection, contact us to let us know the name of your chosen third-party shipper. Please note that new customers paying their auction invoice with a personal/business check or international money order/cashier’s check must wait ten days post-deposit before their items may be released. This release date is supplied to the shipper.
Once your purchase has been picked up by the third-party shipper, all communication regarding shipment of your purchase should be done directly with that third-party shipper.
3. Storage
All purchased items must be removed from William Bunch Auctions & Appraisals after the free pickup period / more than ten (10) calendar days following the auction.
Items remaining on our premises after this period will incur a storage fee of $5.00 per lot, per calendar day, regardless of the item's size, value, or purchase price.
Storage fees apply to all uncollected lots, including items awaiting pickup by third-party shipping companies or transportation services. Buyers are responsible for coordinating timely pickup with their designated shipper.
All accrued storage fees must be paid in full before any merchandise will be released to the buyer, shipper, or authorized representative.
If a shipping company or third-party representative arrives to collect merchandise with outstanding storage fees, pickup will not be permitted until the fees have been paid. Payment arrangements must be made directly with William Bunch Auctions & Appraisals.
Storage fees will continue to accrue until the merchandise is collected, including during any delays caused by the buyer or their designated shipping provider.
William Bunch Auctions & Appraisals is not responsible for delays in pickup arrangements made by buyers or third-party shipping companies.
Any exceptions or waivers of storage fees must be approved in writing by William Bunch Auctions & Appraisals.
