Operations Manager

SUMMARY

Bunch Auctions is looking to hire a warehouse manager to help
organize and develop new systems to handle incoming estate consignments.
You are responsible for the safe and efficient movement of all property flowing through
the loading dock, warehouse, photo areas and showroom: unloading, unpacking and
receiving of incoming consignments, setting up and breaking down auctions, assisting
clients with the packing and removal of purchases. Facilitate customer pickups,
releases to shippers, buyers and returns to consignors.


You will effectively work with other staff members to develop and maintain orderly
storage and recordkeeping procedures from intake through the entire cataloging and
sale process to reconciliation of consignor accounts.


You must review all incoming consignments, identify categories and value ranges for
designation to particular types of sales. Familiarity with online auctions also an essential
skill set.


The qualified and successful candidate will have 10-plus year’s market experience in
antiques, collectibles, and fine art. A thorough knowledge of the estate auction process
is essential.


Computer proficiency is required with good working knowledge of general online
research and the usual collectible and fine art databases. Proficiency in google
sheets/Word/Excel is required. You will need to thoroughly learn and become proficient
in the auction software systems used for client and consignment management. You will
also participate on preview and auction days with client interaction and absentee/phone
bidding functions.

Crew Leader / Driver / Field Expert

SUMMARY

Bunch Auctions is seeking a full-time crew leader/driver and field
expert for packing and moving antiques, fine art, home furnishings and other personal
property to the auction house for sale.
 
Your duties will include inventorying, packing and hauling household furniture, art and
decorative objects safely into the auction house.  You must be experienced driving
straight body trucks up to 26’. A CDL is helpful.
 
Industry experience and/or product knowledge is a must. It will sometimes be necessary
to identify salable items within a home for a consignor.
 
Knowledge of industry-accepted procedures and specialized equipment for moving
furniture is vital.  Preparing, packing, loading, and unloading trucks in a safe and
efficient manner is essential. Proficiency in removal of property from high-rise buildings
and other difficult job sites is a required skill. Occasionally we must operate in the
elements and one must be adaptable to climate extremes. 
 
You will be required to understand and explain the terms and conditions of our contract
and processes to clients.  You must maintain a professional appearance and represent
our company in the same manner. Time management, problem solving, and
independent situational resolution skill sets are required. 


In house, you will work with the rest of the team and assist with auction set up, learn
sale day procedures and internet protocols. You will be involved with customer service
requests and other sale day processes.

Auction House Crew Member

SUMMARY

Bunch Auctions is looking to hire warehouse crew members to assist
in the behind the scene areas of the auction house.


You are responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient movement of all property
flowing through the loading dock, warehouse, photo areas and showroom: unloading,
unpacking and receiving of incoming consignments, setting up and breaking down
auctions, assisting clients with the packing and removal of purchases, as well as
facilitating customer pickups, releases to shippers, buyers and returns to consignors.
You will assist auction team to prepare auction consignments, including but not limed to
tagging items, taking measurements and documenting related information.


You must have knowledge of industry-accepted procedures for moving furniture and
equipment.


You will work as a team member to assist with building and custodial maintenance,
projects and other duties as assigned.


You must be able to complete projects independently and manage time efficiently.


YOUR CREDENTIALS:


•High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
•Maintain a valid Driver's License
•Strong customer service & communication skills
•Ability to pack/unpack fragile items to prep for shipment
•Team player mentality with an ability to work independently
•Ability to adapt to a variety of working environments including extremes in cleanliness
and temperature
•Must have reliable transportation
•Able to move/ lift up to 75 lbs. using appropriate tools
