This is a full-time position, hours are from 9am until 5pm Monday thru Friday.

Busy auction house seeks an experienced warehouse / operations manager to aid in the organization and development of new systems to handle incoming estate consignments, property, and logistics within the auction showroom and warehouse. The candidate is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of all items flowing through the loading dock, warehouse, photography zones, and showroom. This is a hands-on position. 

Duties include:

•Managing warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe handling of all  inventory

•The unloading, unpacking and receiving of incoming consignments

•Setting up and breaking down live auctions and auction previews

•Assisting clients with the packing and removal of purchases

•Facilitating customer pickups

•Releasing items to shippers, buyers and returns to consignors

•Setting warehouse team goals in collaboration with management and other administrative leads

•Participating on preview and auction days with client interaction and absentee/phone bidding functions.

•Effectively working with other staff members to develop and maintain orderly storage and recordkeeping procedures from intake, through the entire cataloging / sale process, to reconciliation of consignor accounts.
